Summer Swim Lessons

As America’s Swim Instructor, the Y is the most accessible community resource to prevent drowning and encourage a lifelong enjoyment of swimming- teaching more than a million kids a year swimming and water safety skills.The Y can help develop competency in swimming , along with confidence and endurance.


I    July 9th- July 19th

II   July 23rd- August 2nd

III  August 6th- August 16th

Classes are held Monday through Thursday for two weeks

Preschool Classes, Ages 3-5:

Stage 1- Water Acclimation                                   9:15am-9:45am

(Beginner/formerly Pike)                                       10:45am-11:15am

Stage 2- Water Movement                                     9:45am-10:15am

(Advanced beginner/formerly Eel)


Youth Classes, Ages 6-12:

Stage 1              Water Acclimation                        8:30am-9:15am

(Beginner/formerly Polliwog)

Stage 2               Water Movement                         8:30am-9:15am

(Advanced Beginner/formerly Guppy)                     10:45am- 11:30am

Stage 3               Water Stamina                            9:15am- 10:00am

(Intermediate/formerly Minnow)

Stage 4               Stroke Introduction                     10:00am-10:45am

(Advanced/ formerly Fish/Flying Fish)


 Cost: Member $40.00    Program Participant $80.00
